It’s easy to say ‘it wasn’t me’. It’s simple to pass the buck, to blame someone else, to deny all knowledge, to shy from responsibility.
Far harder is it to stand up, be counted, take it on the chin, understand what failed and use that knowledge to do better next time.
People think that if they deny responsibility, they’ll ‘get away with it’.
